This reclaimed old growth redwood siding is over 60 years old and is still in excellent condition! It was carefully removed and is now being reinstalled on this new addition. Once repainted, we expect it to last another 60.
These back to back bathrooms have waterfalls and sunrise designs in the tile work. We enjoy having opportunities to be creative and draw on nature for inspiration.
Ecological Land Management and Wildfire Safety
With many rural California homeowners being dropped by their insurance carriers, it only highlights the importance of taking action toward fire safe landscapes. While the threat of losing one’s home to wildfire cannot be completely eliminated, much can be done to a home and surrounding landscape to reduce risk. Often, cleaning up the forest understory improves wildlife habitat, improves accessibility, and makes a property safer.
The underbrush has been cleared from this property, making it safer against wildfire and improving wildlife habitat.
Design and Planning
Each project starts with a site visit and we begin a conversation that will continue through the design and planning phase. We want to hear your ideas for your home and land so that a completed project is tailored to fit your needs. We simplify the design process and present you with options to meet your budget. We take care of the nuts and bolts of the design, so that you can focus on the type of stone you want on your countertop or whether you’d prefer a Concord grape or a kiwi vine shading your new hardscape patio.
